Vehcile Spotlight: 2015 Ford F-150

The Ford F-150 has long been one of the best-selling vehicles in America, which is why Ford had to get it right when it redesigned the iconic truck—and we think they did just that.

For 2015, the F-150 is completely redone. However, one of the biggest changes isn’t exactly visible. Under the layer of expertly-applied paint is military-grade aluminum. Using aluminum instead of steel makes the truck lighter, and therefore more fuel-efficient—a big advantage for fleets that are looking to cut costs.

In addition to the new body construction, the F-150 gets more sophisticated and capable with more advanced comfort, convenience, and safety features.

The F-150 comes with a choice of four engines: the base 3.5-liter V6, a turbocharged 2.7-liter V6, a powerful 5.0-liter V8, and a turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6.

With these engines, the 2015 F-150 can tow from 7,600 pounds with the base V6 up to 8,500 pounds with the 2.7-liter V6. For even more power, the 5.0-liter V8 is capable of pulling up to 11,100 pounds and the 3.5-liter V6 leads the pack with 12,200 pounds when properly equipped.

With the 2015 F-150 there is no shortage of options. Drivers will appreciate many of the innovative features available in the truck, including a rearview camera, an integrated trailer brake controller, rear parking sensors, different axle ratios, a 360-degree top-down camera display with dynamic hitch assist, and more.

Come see why the 2015 Ford F-150 is the most capable and innovative F-150 ever! See it today here at Nick Nicholas Ford in Inverness, Florida.
